The  Republic Day is celebrated every year on January 26 to honour the date on which the Constitution of India came into effect in 1950. The celebration is held in grandeur in national capital's India Gate. This year marks the  69th Republic Day  of India and like every year, the highlight of the day is the parade that takes place at the India Gate. This year, the Republic Day celebrations will have 10 heads from Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, and Brunei - as chief guests.  The children of Class I Primus also celebrated it with full zeal and enthusiasm and made National Flag with help of Paper tearing activity ,they sang Vande Matram and also did a worksheet on Republic day .

B asant Panchami  is one of the most colourful and wonderful festivals of India and is celebrated in myriad forms across the country on the fifth day of the month of Maagh (a month in the Hindu calendar) . It  marks the end of the winter season.  People usually wear yellow garments in this festival. Goddess of knowledge, Devi Saraswati is worshipped all over the country.   The students of class I Primus also  enjoyed the festival with great fun and enthusiasm.They brought yellow rice, ladoo etc and shared with others as well. To suffice the theme they also made stick flowers and decorated it.

Army Day  is celebrated on 15 th  January every year in India, in recognition of  Field Marshal   Kodandera M. Cariappa 's (then a Lieutenant General) taking over as the first Commander-in-Chief of the  Indian Army  from  General   Sir Francis Butcher , the last British  Commander-in-Chief of India, on 15 th  January 1949. The day is celebrated in the form of parades and other military shows in the national capital  New Delhi  as well as in all headquarters. The students of class I also celebrated army Day by singing and learning  Vande mataram for our soldiers
